As part of my TAMU Senior Capstone project, I worked with Lockheed-Martin to create an affordable, portable image recognition/object classification system using machine learning to promote community health and urban maintenance. Using mutliple Raspberry Pis, Lora Radios, a GPS receiver, and finally an Electron GUI, we created an application that can be mounted on the dashboard of a vehicle to automatically detect objects of interest (people, potholes, traffic signs, grafitti, etc) and put them on an OpenStreetMap in our GUI so that municipal employees and volunteers can map the objects indicative of the disrepair of the city. Once these objects are mapped, contractors/employees can easily find what problems to work on in the area without having to conduct a manual survey. The application included encrypted radio communications between multiple Raspberry Pis, a custom network protocol based off TCP to ensure a complete data flow, IPC between Node and multiple concurrent Python scripts, multithreading, and machine learning using OpenCV/TensorFlow.

Bluebonnet Nutrition

Bluebonnet Nutrition is a Sugarland based supplement company with a product line of 600+ items. In my time there, I developed their new website using the requested CMS (Wordpress) to allow internal teams to easily edit and maintain the content on the website. I worked with a team of designers to implement they designs they created in Figma. I developed a custom Wordpress theme for this purpose using PHP in addition to HTML/CSS/JS to ensure that theme was as optimized and fast as possible. After the website was completed, I converted the static website into a fully functional eCommerce platform connected to the company's Amazon FBA account where they could sell all 600+ unique products directly to consumers from their existing Amazon inventory. Finally, I created custom API endpoints that connected with third-party sales applications, including Salesforce and proprietary internal sales appplications, to ensure data consistency across all of our platforms. I also created custom Wordpress plugins for the site to add functionality as needed.

Aggie Sama is a student organization at Texas A&M University that provides a place for Anime and Manga enthusiasts to get involved with the Anime scene. The project was one of many that Aggie Web Developers had available that year. I worked as the Project Manager and mentor, and my responsibilities included holding SCRUM/Sprint meetings, teaching new developers with no (0!) experience modern web technologies and best practices, managing JIRA boards and the Github repository, and ensuring the quality of the product met AWD standards. I created the first iteration of my personal portfolio to show to prospective clients. It contained a landing page, about page, work page, and contact page. This portfolio also included a selection of templates I had for sale to expedite development speeds for certain niches of small businesses who needed static designs.

One of my first projects was to create a set of static templates to offer to small businesses who either do not have a website, or are in need of updating an outdated website. Many businesses only require static pages as an "online business card", so these templates cater to that need.
